After Three Years Of Unbearable Stomach Pain. I Ended Up

default
Posted on Thu, 4 Jun 2020
Question: After three years of unbearable stomach pain. I ended up getting a HIDA scan showing Bilinary Diskensia. I had my Gallbladder removed 2 months ago. The first three weeks life was amazing. I feel the best I’ve felt in years. I ate like a pig with 0 side affects at all. Full energy, like it never happened. Now over the last 5 weeks it’s all back again. I have no problems with Diharea or Heartburn. I just have pain and loud stomach noises. I constantly feel like I’m poisoned. My energy is cut in half by 50%. My stomach aches constantly. Right in the middle of my stomach, feels like I drank battery acid the night prior. It can’t be food related because I ate the worst food of my life during the month I felt fine. Now I’m eating chicken, rice, oats, and water. I feel completely horrible. Every day and night. I take questram, tried PPI’s, tried benefiber, I take probiotics every night. The only thing that provides temporary relief is vigorous exercise. If I burn 500+ calories I feel good for about 2 hours. Then NO MATTER what I eat I get insane bouts of stomach churning. Followed immediately by the burn out stomach pain.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Well possibly you have a sensitive stomach, likely that you must have been evaluated with basic test like cbc, crp, sonography of abdomen, stool examination if symptoms are severe, worsening and associated with weight loss then worthwhile getting advanced test like an ct abdomen or an endoscopy after consulting your gastroenterologist.
In addition try following things and see how you feel likely they will help you in long run too,
1) eat on time
2) sleep adequately
3) regular walk / exercise
4) avoid excess tea coffee aerated drinks tobacco in any form
5) avoid excess XXXXXXX / lap top use
6) try some yoga / relaxation exercise
7) avoid excess oily and spicy food
8) if no relief can speak to you doctor about low dose antispasmodics and anxiolytic may help you if he feels so
hope this answers your query.
wish you a speedy recovery
happy to help.
