Always Feel Tired Even Though I Get Enough Sleep Every

Question: Always feel tired even though I get enough sleep every night.

Big Weight gain, especially around my stomach, even when I’m very active every day. Both my jobs require me to stand and be active. I love to eat healthy too. I’ve gained 30 pounds in around a year or less.

Constantly bloated.

Mood swings

Dizziness

High heart rate when just walking.

Because of the weight gain and not feeling like myself I feel down.

Back at the start of May I had the Mirena removed as it gave me severe cramps. I am not on any birth control now.
After having it removed I had a Pap smear even though I had one just a year prior which came back normal.
This time I found out I had HPV that was at high risk of turning into cancer so I had a procedure to remove it. Results came back good and I just need to have another check up in December/January.

Please help me. I want to feel energised, happy and confident. I need to lose weight!

Brief Answer:
Hypothyroidism is more likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you should get some more tests done in order to better evaluate your situation .
I think you may need to do
-a total blood count with formula
-iron levels in blood
-sedimentation (ESR)
-liver chemistry
-fasting glucose levels
-T3, T4 and TSH

Iron deficiency anemia, hypothyroidism, diabetes may be the causes of these symptoms of tiredness, fatigue, lack of energy, weight gain, thinning of hair and nails etc.
The tests I mentioned earlier can help you to check the blood formula, thyroid function and diabetes.
I believe that your situation may be more related to Hypothyroidism. It can be cured by taking levothyroxine and this will make you feel like your old self and also loosing weight.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
