Am I At Risk Of Pregnancy Or Illness If I'm On Ortho Tri-Cyclen, When I Now Have Light Pink Spotting And Urgency To Urinate?

Question:
I'm 18 on Orthitricyclen (birth control) and sexually active with a boyfriend. I had a UTI last month and finished the antibiotics even though I'm allergic to sulfa. I got my period a week ago but I'm having light pink spotting with discomfort and urgency to pee. I take my pills consistently and havent missed any and he never ejaculates in me if we do without a condom, just worried I'm pregnant or sick in some way.. I've also taken 2 pregnancy tests and they came out negative but I just want to be sure.

Brief Answer:
Hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It cant be pregnancy, two negative tests, ejaculating outside and birth control all three efforts may not fail at once. The spotting you had could be due to hormonal imbalance which is seen commonly during usage of birth control, Need not worry.

Since you had a history of urinary tract infection, i recommend a urine routine microscopy test to ascertain you do not have the infection now.

Hope I answered your query. Wish you good health.

Regards
