Brief Answer:
Pre-exposure prophylaxis gives long lasting protection.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi
Good evening!

I appreciate your concern regarding the efficacy of anti rabies vaccines.

Since your pet dog remained healthy even after 90 days of exposure (dog bite) & the fact that you have received 3 doses on 0, 3, & 7 days following exposure this type of vaccination becomes "pre-exposure type" and the immunity would be long lasting.

Due to the long duration of protection, regular booster doses of the vaccine
are not recommended following a completed pre-exposure or post-exposure
series except for certain groups at continuous, frequent or increased risk (some laboratory technicians and veterinarians).

The incubation period for rabies in humans is usually 3-8 weeks, although it can be as short as 4 days. So, the possibility of any chance of having virus in the body is unlikely as the vaccines have already given the protection against the virus if any.

Long-lasting immunity against rabies depends on immunological memory.
which can be demonstrated by a rapid antibody response to a booster dose.
A booster dose may be recommended only if rabies virus neutralizing antibody titres fall to <0.5 IU/ml.

Hope to have answered your query.

Wishing you best of your health.

So sir as incubation period is over these vaccine provide the immunity to me if there any previous virus present?and sir I need booster dose or not as these 3 vaccine plus 4 dose on 52 day are enough for future before any suspected bite
And sir one more question saliva needs to be come in direct contact with mucous membrane opening want to know virus can transfer through object or its need to be in direct conatct?and if any dog remain alive for 20days then it is also sure dog is non rabid?

Brief Answer:
The given vaccines are enough.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi
Thanks for your reply.

Since you have already received 3 plus one extra dose on Day 52, there is no need to think of a booster dose at this moment.

Immunity is not against the the previous infection, it is for your future protection.
Since your dog remained healthy so far hence "non-rabid" therefore there is no question of persistence of any virus.

I hope to have clarified your doubts. Kindly close this discussion after rating the answers.

Wishing you once again a very good health.
