
Any Advice I Can Give To The Staff That Is

Question: Any advice I can give to the staff that is treating a family member with Covid. They have been hooked up to a ventilator and icu for about a week. They have given him extra gasses I believe through his stomach. His oxygen assist is steady at 50%. Here is the problem, he is in his 70s. They are trying to think of a more aggressive approach so they can get him up and moving. Anything is appreciated

I don’t have all those on hand however I know, all his other organs are great when they did ct scan. His lungs are patchy from the virus but are not covered. Which they said were good. Blood work seems good. They have been proning, 20hrs on stomach 4 on back. The pressure to which they are administering the oxygen is at 10
