Brief Answer:
You may get dose of medicines adjusted

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

You seem to be having sleepiness and fatigue due to side effect of valproate. You may want to get dose of medicines adjusted by your doctor. Praliperidone (Invega sustenna) and olanzapine can also cause sleepiness.
Do you have epilepsy, shizophrenia, bipolar disorder?
Herbs like ashwagandha tablets can help with extra dose of energy.
Yes please continue doing your work. That will help you sail through it.
If old friends have lost contact with you, it is time to make new friends.
You may step out to a local park or community center and get involved with people in community work. Figure out how you could be useful and people will become friendly. You may help neighbors with their daily chores and they may pay you for that.
Religious ceremonies by local temple priest are also helpful. Also meditation and yoga help.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr Vaishalee

I don't believe i have schizophrenia but the doctor says i do. Ashwaghanda sounds interesting i'll try that. I've tried it before and it gave me quite a bit of energy, But it only works for like the first day then stops working. Yeah, work is good. I get money to buy things but don't have enough work to eat regularly. I find it hard to make new friends. I'm scared they'll be trouble. Sounds good to help neighbour with daily chores. Meditation and yoga sounds good. I used to meditate alot but then it stopped working.

Brief Answer:
Yes try meditation daily

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Meditation does work in the background. It may seem that it is not working when the chaos is too much. But we need to continue doing it anyways.
OK lets not aim at making "friends". Instead we can just talk to whoever is available. But community work will help better.
Why do you think that you don't have schizophrenia? What have been your exact symptoms?
Coffee can cause irritability. Do you have high blood pressure or anxieties?

I'm afraid of approaching strangers because i'm scared they'll call the Police. I'm not very strong and the Police could over power me. I don't think i have schizophrenia because my thinking is normal. I don't think i have symtoms. Yeah i used to love instant Coffee like Nescafe now it tastes bad, I have a bit of anxieties, not sure about high Blood pressure. When i drink Coffee the taste makes me feel a bit irritable.

Brief Answer:
You may join activity or hobby groups

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You may join local hobby groups or activities like yoga/meditation classes. So you may get some opportunity to make new friends there.
Altered taste of nescafe could be due to taste of medicines maybe Valproate.
Coffee contains caffeine and it can make one irritable and raise BP if taken in excess. So you may watch what you are eating.

Hi, i asked a doctor here and she said the coffee is bad due to low quality coffee. The best way to fix it is to try a different bottle

OK

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since only coffee is bad tasting, I don't think we can make it a big issue about it. You may try a different brand of coffee

You only have this moment at hand

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Whatever work needs to be done, it has to be done in this moment.
If you are not able to find regular job, please do community work. You may also help with washing of cars or similar work till you find regular work.

Finance management

Detailed Answer:
Hi
When we don't have enough income or money, then we need to cut down on our needs and expenses. So you can make a list of such things that you don't really need to buy.

Anyways, I understand your need to restore taste, for which you may reduce or discontinue valproate under guidance of your doctor.

I also need to know details of symptoms before the start of medicines. Also since when are you using medicines? Since when are you meditating?

Dr Vaishalee

Brief Answer:
It is normal to feel sad after separating from wife

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is normal to feel sad after separating from wife and children. Unless there are court orders in place, you may get to meet them occasionally. Once the children are grown up, they will come to meet you by themselves. I can understand that moving on maybe difficult. Staying busy in some work is needed. Meditation will help. These will not replace a spouse but will help keep your mental health. Making new friends is very helpful.

Brief Answer:
Side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Marriage means commitment and loyalty to same person. You need to stay loyal to her and she needs to stick to her commitment. Don't give up on your marriage. Try starting it as new life.

Yes, sleepiness is a side effect of both olanzapine and valproate. The doses can be reduced especially for valproate.

Injection site reaction due to Invega is also common. If it's benefit is more than this issue then it should be continued.

Dr Vaishalee
