Any Treatment Precautions You Would Recommend Bad Throat Low Grade Fever
Question: Hi. I am 71 year old female in good general health. Attached are my recent lab results. I was experiencing cough, bad throat low grade fever and got the test done.
Would like to know how the positive IGM for dengue should be interpreted.
Should I repeat the test. Fever and symptoms are better. Any treatment precautions you would recommend. Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
Your symptoms Are suggestive of acute viral infection.
Viral infection improves on its own,Most of the time ,as you are improving.
as far as reports are concerned, IgG means previous infection and IGM antibody means recent infection. That means you have recent infections with dengue virus, and which is improving right now.
hope your query is clear now.
Thank you .
