Or perhaps it is just a soft tissue injury from muscle ligament pull. Not a concern. I suggest you to take an oral anti inflammatory for 3-5 days. It should be ok.

Hi.
You may take a B complex multivitamin once a day for a few days. Apply a mucosal anesthetic, the same which is available to relieve pain, swelling and discomfort due to oral ulcers. Most of them contain benzalkonium chloride as anesthetic.
