Hi,
Ask A Doctor Service
It's important to follow your doctor's advice regarding medication and treatment. High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, can increase the risk of heart disease and other health issues. If your blood pressure remains high even after lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet and exercise, medication may be necessary to help manage it.

It's common for doctors to prescribe medication for a specific duration to monitor its effectiveness. In your case, since your blood pressure decreased after taking the medication for 8 days, your doctor is suggesting continuing it for another 30 days. This could be to ensure long-term control of your blood pressure.
IF YOU KEEP YOUR LIFE STYLE HEALTHY ,THEN YOU WOULD NOT NEED TO TAKE LIFELONG MEDICINE.
SO FOR NOW CONTINUE MEDICINE, AND AFTER 1 MONTH ,AS PER YOUR LIFE STYLE CHANGES, WE CAN DECIDE IF MEDICINE CAN BE STOPPED.
