Question: I have had recurring c diff. can I take cephalexin for a uti with 2 vancomycin a day

Hi,

I understand your concern.

If you have a personal history of reoccurring C.diff and have UTI, then, can treat UTI with cephalexin, and take vancomycin for C.diff although I'd preferred metronidazole.

I advise to take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora and urine antiseptic like uva Ursi or.cranberry supplement.
