Are FBS Level Of 152 And PPBS Level Of 190-210 Causes For Concern?

Question: My fasting sugar comes out to be 152 and PP 190-210 . I am taking glucomet 500 mg once a day. Should I continue with this or any change in dose is recommended.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Both the fasting as well as post prandial levels of blood sugar are high and therefore you need dose adjustment or modification of the regimen by adding another antidiabetic.

You also need to make lifestyle modifications, walk regularly in the morning, take plenty of water, take fiber rich diet etc.
