Are Fightox Tablets And Bentadine Cream Appropriate For A Right Leg Injury?
Question: hello, My right leg was hurt on 17th. I am attaching photos as on today. I have taken 8 tablets of Fightox 625 mg since then. I am using Bentadine cream. I have taken TT Injection. Can you advise if it is being well treated or should I take some additional medicines so that it heals faster. I am 31 years old Male. Also advise how to take a good care of the wound.
Brief Answer:
It seems to be healing well
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
Your wound is healing well. You are taking the correct treatment and there doesnot seem to be any sign of infection in the wound. There is good vascularity and it means that it will heal nicely.
I would suggest the following:
- Get the dressing done by a surgeon at least once in 2 - 3 days
- Give the wound some open, dressing-free time to allow it to dry
- Hydrogen peroxide may be used to clean the wound if there is pus, and then rinsed with normal saline
- Do not allow water to flow on the wound
Hope it helps.

thanks, so how many more tablets should I take of Fightox 625mg.
Brief Answer:
5 - 7 days is more than enough
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
You are taking it prophylactically. It may be taken for 5 - 7 days or longer if there are any signs of infection. I presume that you are taking it since the day of accident. You may take it for 2 - 3 days more.
