Are Fucidin Cream And Amoxicillin Advisable For A Boil Near The Vaginal Opening?

Can you get back to me ASAP
Continue current treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Vaginal boils respond well to Amoxicillin. You can continue amoxicillin, Fucidin cream, and Acetaminophen (Paracetamol).
Also, wear loose-fitting undergarments. Wash the area with anti bacterial soap and warm water. Keep the area clean and dry.
You can also apply a warm compress for pain relief.
It can take up to 2 weeks to completely clear up the infection.
However. If you notice no improvement in next 2 to 3 days, follow up with your treating physician to switch to a stronger antibiotic like Keflex.
Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Follow the current treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You need to take all the medications as prescribed. Also follow the recommendations I mentioned in above discussion. There is nothing more to be done. Avoid shaving the area until the boil heals and do not try to poke or break the boil.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thank you.
