Are Keratin Hair Care Products Safe While Breastfeeding?
In special situations it may cause problems.
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for writing back,
High concentrations of formaldehyde are needed to cause dangerous levels of absorptions into the body through skin but problem being we do not know what is the safe limit so scientists do advise to avoid exposure during breast feeding here is a link i want to share with you , its mostly concerned with accupations dealing with formaldehyde but still you will get to know that there are special concerns during pregnancy and breast feeding.

I would also mention here that formaldehyde does get abosrbed in the body through skin and it enters the breast milk , even if its in small quantities it is going to be in milk. In normal circumstances it might not effect your baby but if he is allergic to firmaldehyde then there can be problems.
During breast feeding if hair touch eyes face or other delicate parts of the baby and he is allergic ..he might get allergic reactions...
So in your case n scenario i would say that adverse reactions are not much expected if baby isnt allergic but it will enter breast milk for some days... and then its concertration will get decreasing with time as you arent going to be exposed to firmaldehyde for linger periods of time, if your baby isnt allergic there may not be any serious problem...but care is advised.
