Brief Answer:

Depends on the cause of headache/Tell some details.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

In general Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) like Naproxen, Diclofenac will help to ease off the headache; however, the treatment depends on the cause of the headache.

Migraine specifically requires triptans/ergots group of medicines for an acute attack. Please follow up with your clinical details, so that I can answer this well further.

Please answer the following questions-
1) How many times in a month do you have a headache?
2) Since when are you having a headache?
3) Does your headache increases on exposure to bright lights or sounds?
4) Do you have nausea?
5) Do you have any specific factors which worsen your headache?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Brief Answer:

Needs brain imaging/Neurological examination

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I think you might need a brain imaging (like CT scan) to see for intracranial abnormalities if any.

I suggest you to get yourself physically examined by a neurologist, which may suitably guide you for the investigations.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
