Detailed Answer:
Hello
thanks for asking on this platform
Green colored stool with vomiting can be due to bacterial/protozoal infection.
Ofloxacin and metronidazole is antibacterial and anti protozoal. The prescribed dose is adequate for this age.
Ondensetron is given for vomiting and 5 ml of vomikind contains 2 mg.The dose for this age would be about 1-2 ml three times a day.The prescribed dose of 10 drops (0.5 ml) is less for this age.
Redotil contains rececadotril an anti secretory agent.Side effect like abdominal distension is very uncommon. It is recommended in secretory diarrhea (with very high frequency).I personally don't prefer this if frequency is not very high.
I would like to add some proboitic along with zinc drops for early recovery.
Give plenty of fluids with frequent feeds to avoid any dehydration.
In most the cases symptoms improve within 3-4 days.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
