1. Are androgen receptors present at age 0-6 months? Or is this question nonsensical because always present from fetal stage?
2. If present at age 0-6 months, does circulating androgens automatically bind to them, in ALL cells that they are found?

I understand androgen receptors are found in pituitary cells. Are they present even at 0-6 months age in baby boy?
I ask because at this age there a surge in testosterone.....does it bind to the pitutary cells even at this age, but perhaps with limited action?
