Question: Is it common to have anxiety attacks after a miscarriage? When you have never had an attack before the pregnancy. It feels like a heart attack- heartbeat is racing and cold sweats.

I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Yes, it is quite common to have anxiety attacks after having a miscarriage, because it is a big trauma for a woman. You are young to start having heart problems out of the blue, if you never had problems before. So with the history of miscarriage it is totally understandable.

Some practical advises I would recommend to avoid medicines if possible, or to help enhance their effect, is to do running at least 4 times/week, more then 20 min. running helps increase the adrenaline in the body and so helps decrease the anxiety attacks.
Also, if bad thoughts are tormenting you, talk with someone that is close to you.
Try to do every day things you like to do- read books, walk in the nature, get out with friends.

All this will help a lot go through this.

If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.
