Question: Hello, ongoing back problem(middle just below shouldders) i have constant pain down both arms aswell. I have been felling exhausted and have blurry bision aswell. All my muscles are sore all over. Burning in chest and back. My doctor said its probably gerd. I take esomeprazole and ranatidine for reflux. Also take meds for high blood pressure(treated)bisoprolol and irbesartan. Being treated for depression and anxiey for a while. Escitalopram and others. Ive had 3 stress tests to check for angina and heart disease. All 3 came back clear. Im at my wits end doctor. Do you think its heart related? Last stress test was 3 months ago. Or could it be something else?
Brief Answer:
Not angina
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
It is very unlikely to be due to heart disease.
GERD is a possibility. but Omeprazole should have made a difference.
It may be related to stress, anxiety and depression.
The other condition which gives such symptoms is pinching of the nerves in the neck by cervical intervertebral discs or cervical ribs

Detailed Answer:
If you are not on any metoclopramide, try adding it to esomeprazole and ranitidine. Also avoid all species, aerated and caffeinated beverages.
Go to bed on an empty stomach and keep the head end of bed elevated.
These would help your GERD symptoms.
Have good health and a good day
