Are Backache, Vomiting, Nausea And Frequent Urination Indicative Of Kidney Infection?
Question: Temp: 103.2, nausea and vomiting, exceptional back pain especially at both flanks, bowls moving fine, very frequent urination, head ache and general fatigue. Diagnosed (years ago) with insufficient renal function,Is this flu or kidney infection or could it be both?
Brief Answer:
Needs evaluation for Ureteric colic
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your description looks like you have a stone in your renal tract and that is causing you pain.
It could be associated with Urinary Tract Infection, that is causing you a fever. Now, my recommendation for you would be to Get an Ultrasound Abdomen along with Urine Routine & Microscopy.
Take Paracetamol for fever and body pain.
This is my personal opinion based on the details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me. Please share my opinion with your doctor before you act upon it.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
