Are Blisters On My Penile Shaft Due To Any Soap Or Essential Oil Usage?
Question: Hi doctor,
I went for full std check up and the report came back as herpes type 1 @1.2. I have blister on my shaft of my penis. But the doctor whom examined it told me this is not a herpes case. I am wondering could it be skin allergy? It is clear within 3days. The blisters did pop. Could soap, essential oils cause blister on penis

Brief Answer:
Answer few questions
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your complaints and need to ask you few questions:
Is this the report of IgM HSV1 or IgG HSV1?
Was there a single blister or multiple blisters?
Was the blister associated with pain, burning or itching?
Have you applied anything new on the penis?
Have you taken any medicines prior to the eruption?
Kindly revert with the answers.

Is igg HSV 1- 1.2.
Multiple blisters near each other. It pop and disappear within 3-4days. No pain or burning. Itch a little bit.
Before the blister appears, I applied tea tree oil to it and at the same time I used a different brand of soap for showering. (All happened before blister appears)
No medicine was taken.

Brief Answer:
IgG of 1.2 indicates past infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
IgG of 1.2 indicates a past infection.
It doesn’t indicate that your present blisters are due to herpes.
These blisters could be an allergic reaction to a new soap.
