Are Calcium Supplements Helpful For Teething In Infants?

Question: My baby girl has just completed her six months. we are giving her iron and vitamin drops. Shall we start giving her calcium for teeth development now? Please let me know if it is compulsory to give calcium at this stage?
Brief Answer:
Only Vitamin D drops needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The only supplement required and recommended at this age is vitamin d3 drops ( Vitanova D3). There is no need for multivitamins and iron supplement if your baby doesn't have any deficiency. Calcium is not needed in a normal infant for teething.
Ensure good complementary diet along with breastfeeding for proper nutrition.
Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
