I am continually coughing up flem, am tired, and last night was hot and then had the chills most of the evening. What if any medications should I look to take, should I go to a doctor?
Brief Answer:
Yes, you should definitely consult doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely consult doctor because you will need antibiotic and I don't think you will get antibiotic without prescription.
Chills, hot (fever), cough, phlegm etc are more suggestive of lung infection.
So better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and chest x ray if needed.
Please let me know
1. Do you smoke?

Doctor, no I don't smoke. My lungs are in good shape as I work out aerobically 4 to 5 day a week for an hour with my heart rate above 80% of my XXXXXXX for most of the time.
What type of antibiotic would you think I might need from strong Z-pac to amoxicillin?
