Are Dental Veeners Safe For A 36 Year Old Man?
The Gaps have reduced considerably but have not been completely closed.
I have not been advised to go for some more aligners after re-measurement and then possibly get veniers on lateral incisors to cover the remaining gap.
I want to take second opinion.
Also considering my age (36) are Veniers advisable? Is there a risk of them breaking ? How do they behave in older age.
Veneers can resist chewing forces..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your query, firstly invisible aligners commonly closes the gap completely but in case if the gap is not being completed then once consult another Orthodontist and get evaluated...
Secondly if you opt for Veneers then you need not to worry as you can very much get them placed and if done appropriately then they will easily be able to bear the forces of chewing and moderate boring but you will have to avoid biting very hard foods like breaking walnuts etc..
At your age also there is no problem in getting them placed..
But first consult an Orthodontist and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
