Brief Answer:
Thrombocytes

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If your blood test results reveal a high platelet count, it's important for your doctor to determine whether you have essential thrombocythemia or reactive thrombocytosis.

In my opinion, you have reactive thrombocytosis with low iron which is caused by

1-Iron deficiency anemia 2-, infection,3-hemolytic anemia,
4-heart attack, 5-Vitamin deficiency 6-inflammation like inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease etc.

The cancer diagnosis it’s complicated because to make the diagnosis we need to have other exams like tumor markers, endoscopy, patients symptoms, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

What is the course of treatment for reactive thrombosis, and should I still have the upper and lower GI colonoscopy?

and if so, is a month a long time to wait for additional testings, to me it is, it is my life??

Brief Answer:
About thrombosis

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The treatment is dependent on the causes of thrombosis.

Yes, you should have the GI endoscopy. However, one month it’s not a long time in your case, as per this description, it's not seeming like a life-threatening condition. However, if you feel any further worsening of symptoms, please report it to your doctor so that they can schedule it earlier.

Hope I have answered your query.
