Are Episodes Of Dizziness Normal After An Angioplasty?
Question: Dear Sir/Ma'am,
70 year old male patient has visited the hospital with complaints of dizzines 3-4 days back. Cardiologist advised for Angiography. He is 70, and has undergone PTCA in 2014 only. He had Triple vessel disease, and h/o HTN. Would request to confirm whether it is advisable to undergo any aggressive treatment like PTCA or should we maintain the conservative treatment in this case. I have attached all the documents, along with current ECG and consultations. Pls opine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that being a cardiac patient and post angioplasty patient is presenting with complain of dizziness and there is no hypotension but heart is 61bpm. Most likely his attending cardiologist is expecting restenosis in RCA branch which can lead to bradycardia and dizziness.
So it’s recommended for the patient to undergo check Angiogram for proper evaluation of the disease.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards
