Are Headache And Weight Loss Symptoms Of Heart Disease?
Question: is there any heart condition that causes headaches or weight loss? I have been having really bad chest pain along with heart palpitations. also my knees are both swollen and filled with fluid. I did a stress test and echo but that was before the knees were really filled with liquid. my neck is very stiff and I have sharp pain in my shoulder blades when breathing in hard. the tests were normal. the doctor doesn't seem to think its heart related due to the weight loss and headaches but I can feel that my heart feels very weird and something is up. anything cardiac related that can cause this?
Brief Answer:
Not a heart condition
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There is no heart disease which can cause headaches and weight loss with normal cardiac tests.
Headaches could be provoked by stress, weight loss might be caused by your initial rheumatoid diseases or by stress as well.
I understand your concerns, you are young but deal with lot of health issues recently, it may be disappointing and stressful.
But you should know, that with the treatment very good results are possible, which are usually achieved slowly in such diseases. So you should be patient and not to panic. Just follow your rheumatologist's advises.
