Question: My son had high fever for 3 nights 101-102.5 first 2 days and 99.5-103.2 next day . the doctor said tonsils were white and gave antibiotics (amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate) for tonsilitis . Dosage: 3.5 ml , morning and night.
After 9 does (4.5 days), we noticed that the front part of the penis is swollen. Is this an allergic reaction ? Can we miss a dose tonight ? Please advise

Brief Answer:
Does not seem to be correlated.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I do not think that the swelling at the front part of the penis has anything to do with the dose of antibiotics he is receiving. I would insist you not to miss the dose. If you are giving antibiotics you should complete the full course.

Feel free to write back. I would insist you to upload an image of the swollen region and I would guide you further.

Regards
