Are Intermittent Rashes On The Abdomen Indicative Of Paedrous Dermatitis?

Question: I have an intermittent rash which occurs on my abdomen. The rash is about the size of a quarter total, and consists of tiny fluid filled blisters. It itches, and is painful. It will start out as an itchy, tingley, red spot, with the rash soon to follow. It will scab over, leaving a small scar which is very sensitive. The episodes last about 2 weeks from beginning to end. I can't connect them to anything environmental like laundry detergent, soaps, etc. I am HIV negative. I did have a very bad case of chicken pox when I was 7 years old. I was one big blister, and still have some scarring.
Brief Answer:
Either paedrous dermatitis or irritant dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your complaints and it could be either paedrous dermatitis which is a reaction to secretions of an insect or irritant dermatitis to something you are using or applying on the body.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid and antibiotic cream like cortisone cream and Neosporin ointment on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
