Are Itchy Scalp With Burning Sensation And Hair Fall Signs Of Fungal Infection?
Question: Hello Doctor,
My wife has complaint of heavy itching on head scalp along with heavy hairfall for the last 4/5 months,specially from the crowning area.Burning sensation is also felt.We consulted with a Tricologist who told that it is a fungal infection.
We don't know if it is fungal infection or not.
However when we visited a Dermatologist, he told that it is not a fungal infection.
Prescription of a dermotologist attached.
