Are Painful Colon Ulcers And Non-painful White Marks In Mouth Signs Of Lupus?

default
Posted on Tue, 23 Feb 2016
Question: They found ulcers in my colon but also in my mouth. Due to my many symptoms (mostly stomach and esophagus) they have run tons and tons of tests. They just ruled out IBD and e.o.e. last week because they suspected them both for months due to previous test results. They have given me no diagnosis and i would like to know what would cause this 2 separate mouth problems (painful ulcers AND non painful white marks, including a white line( Leukoplakia?) along with painful rashes on my face, neck, back.

Brief Answer:
Crohn's disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello
You can discuss regarding crohn's disease with your treating doctor. I would suggest ANA ( Anti nuclear antibody) test to be done. If it's Crohn's, it can be easily managed with the use of drugs like mesalsmine.
Please discuss these things with your doctor and let me know.
Thank you.
