Question: Hi doctor i received protected (CONDOM) Oral sex from a masseuse in a massage parlour 10 days back. During the course of action she kissed me on my lips, she tried to lick in the groin area which i stopped immediately. Now i have a swollen Lymphnode on the left hand just above the elbow and a mild irritation on my chest. I have been going through pangs of anxiety over this. Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Since you didn't have any sexual intercourse or and your activity was low risk so it is very unlikely to be a HIV related symptom.
Probably the rash you have got and as seen in the attached photograph is friction rash that might have developed following contact with the lady.
Lymph nodes due to HIV don't appear so early. The initial symptoms within 10 days are usually viral like symptoms.
However to be sure you can get your HIV test done after 4-6 weeks of the exposure.
At present your exposure and your symptoms don't suggest HIV infection.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Brief Answer:
Not a reliable sign.

Detailed Answer:
A single lymph node enlargement is not a sign of HIV.
Lymph node enlargement is usually seen weeks or months after HIV has invade your immune system.
However as such there is no rule. One can have lymph node enlargement in early days too but cervical or supra clavicular lymph nodes are enlarged.
You should see your doctor who would examine your lymph node (the swelling that you feel is a lymph node). It's also possible that the lymph node you are feeling is some different swelling.
So get examined by your doctor to be sure.
