Are Red Swollen Bumps That Appeared On My Face Leading To Pus Discharge Followed By A Headache A Serious Concern?
Question: These two bumps appeared on my face about a week ago. They're red, was swollen and was tender to the touch. Never seen this before. The one on my forehead had pus in it when i popped it and i'm having a headache where the bump is located. The one on my nose is a little tender to touch but hasn't really caused any problems.
Brief Answer:
Furuncles, oral and topical antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicines
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
These seem to be furuncles which is due to bacterial infection of the hair follicles.
You need to take a course of oral and topical antibiotics.
If I were your treating doctor I would recommend you to take tablet Cephalexin 500 mg twice daily and apply Fusidic acid cream on the affected areas twice daily for 5-7 days.
For pain and swelling take anti-inflammatory medicines like tablet Ibuprofen 400mg thrice daily for next 2-3 days.
Antibiotics are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

I figured it could be something like that but wasn't sure how it even happened. I did change up my skin regimen recently and started using a pore scrubber so maybe I opened my skin up to something?
Bought some Neosporin last night to help until I could do my doctor.
I did look up furuncles but they seem to look like bumps where as mine look more like craters/ indentations in the skin.
Could it still be the same thing? Attached one more photo.
Oh and I noticed they're tingling and itching from time to time
Thanks so much for your help on this

Brief Answer:
Could be related to pore scrubber
Detailed Answer:
Yes these could be related to pore scrubber.
Indentations are because they seem to be in healing stage and pus has gone.
