Are Small Red Bumps On Penis And Burning In Glans Signs Of STD?

Question: Thursday night I had protected sex for an extended period of time, in excess of 2 hours. On Saturday I noticed small red bumps on my penis and a slight burning on my glans, there is no burning while urination. This has happened once before in the past and I presume it is perhaps a rash or irritation from the lubricated condoms. I'd like your opinion to set my mind at ease
Brief Answer:
Either latex allergy or yeast infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
i am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have also reviewed the images.
This seems due to either latex allergy or candidal balanitis.
I suggest you to use a topical antifungal+steroid cream e.g canesten HC cream, twice daily for a week.
Regards

Thank you for your timely response. I have used latex condoms for years and have never experienced this before aside from one time previously. Could the duration of the intercourse and extended contact with the latex be related to the appearance of these bumps? This was considerable longer than most previous sexual activity.
I enclosed a new photo, i noticed a red irritation on my scrotum, is this related to either the latex or spermicidal lubricant on the condom or yeast as you mentioned earlier? Also, I just finished a course of antibiotics (500 MG cipro) from my urologist for a potential case of epididymitis, could this be related?

Brief Answer:
Rash on scrotum could be due to allergy or irritation
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have reviewed the image.
The rash on scrotum lools like a dermatitis(irritant or allergic) secondary to a local cause like a condom or a lubricant. You may use a topical steroid cream e.g either triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream Or mometasone furoate 0.1% cream. The rash on glans could be related to the rash on scrotum and both of these could be explained by irritation or allergy to either a condom or lubricant.
