Are Sore Throat And Burning Sensation In The Urethra Signs Of STD?

So the question is: is it possible that my STD test gave a false negative result and I really have a chlamydia or gonorrhea? The instruction for the test said "it's bet not to urinate 30 min before the test", and I went to the bathroom like 40 minutes before. Is this possible that this bacteria somehow traveled from my throat to my penis? Or maybe I could got infected despite using a condom?
My intercourse was around 5 weeks ago, my symptoms in my urethra started yesterday.
Less likely to be STD, might be viral sore throat
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query.
As you have tested for STD and have come back to be normal. I don't think you might be having STD. You can repeat it but I feel based on your information, it is fine.
I feel based on the climatic changes, you might have sire throat. Most of them are viral in nature and require only symptomatic treatment.
Presently I would suggest you to drink plenty of water especially warm water, it helps in loosening the cough. Warm salt water gargaling 3 to 4 times a day. Steam inhalation with few drops of eucalyptus oil in it 3 - 4 times a day. You can take 5 ml of Ascoril expectorants three times a day. Kindly ask about this drugs with your local physician, these are prescription based agents. And also suck lozenges like strepsil or cofsil 2 to 3 per day. Kindly follow this measures, your symptoms should subside.
Burning micturation can be due to UTI. Go for urine routine examination, and drink plenty of water and cranberry juice wil be beneficial. Need of antibiotic can be decided on the investigation report.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Take care.
