The lining of the vagina and outer cervix are the same. They are lined by stratified squamous epithelium.

The inner lining of the cervix is different. It is lined by columns epithelium.

The other cells that make up the vagina, including parabasal, intermediate, superficial,- are they squamous as you mentioned above? And aren't there also leukocytes and erythrocytes in the vagina? And importantly, CAN/DO THESE CELLS cross over/ invade the cervix?

Yes. Parabasal, superficial and intermediate are all squamous cells.
The blood in blood vessels contain leococytes and erythrocytes. If there is infection of the vaginal epithelium, then there can be leucocytes in the vaginal epithelium. The ectocervix has epithelium similar to vagina.
