Are There Any Ayurvedic Remedies For Lichen Planus?

Question: Are there any ayurvedic remedies for the skin disease Lichen planus? My mother contracted this disease a lil over a decade ago and the only allopathic solution available was controlled sterroids, as suggested by a very XXXXXXX dermatologist. Later she consulted a very renowned homeopath in XXXXXXX (who has now passed away), whole remedies worked slowly and steadily. But the tendencies to develop those eruptions, blisters etc are still there. My mother practises pranayam regularly which she believes checks the growth of new ones. Other than this, are there any ayurvedic/ naturopathic remedies possible?

as per your mother's problem of Lichen planus.
There is only steroids from modern medicines for the problem.
In Ayurveda we surely can get progressive and positive results in this condition.
One thing has to accept as we will see result slowly.

Start the following medicines right now and will have to review three to six months.

1. Manjisthadi ghan vati 2 tabs twice a day
2. Himcolin Syru (Sandu) = 10 ml thrice a day
3. Aarogyavardhini ras 2 tabs twice a day
4. XXXXXXX gugal 2 tabs twice a day
5. XXXXXXX rasayan tablet 2 tabs twice a day
6. Ras XXXXXXX ras 1 tab twice a day.
7. Jatyadi Tailam for external use.

Also advisable to get such panchkarma treatment for fast result.
1. Shirodhara treatment
2. Virechan karma

Avoid Curd, spicy and oily food.
Also fruits has to avoid with milk and milk products.

Any clinic/ hospital in XXXXXXX that she can take the treatment from? Also food restictions are forever or only when she is taking the medicines? How long does she have to take these medicines/ What is the expected time of recovery?

As per ypur query
1. I dont know any hospital or clinic for Ayurveda treatment but you can find by help of local search or call call center like just dial etc. You need to search panchkarma centers.
2. About food restriction mostky she need to follow food restriction till she feels improving then after step by step she can start to avoid restriction, while medication too. First have to leave food restriction then after medicines.
3. Approximately she will have improvement within two or three months.
