Dose for Venlafaxine is 37.5mg and 75 mg and the Trazodone is 50 mg
Brief Answer:
I do not think the treatment can cause serious side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
I like to inform you that she is reciving treatment in completely recommended manner and there is nothing serious about the treatment side effects. The 112.5 mg of venlafaxine is much below the highest recommended dose (300mg).
Similarly the dose of trazodone is sedative dose and do not lead to anything serious side effects except sedation and other usual side effects.
I hope this assists you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

My concern is she just started taking it around May. She is having problems with her skin and small patches of hair loss. I understand that Heroin can cause these problems yet she has been off that for awhile. Norco has been the hardest to stop. Long story about rehab but it's necessary. She is a diabetic. I need to know what symptoms would indicate a real problem. Also I read that certain vitamins and supplements can cause an increase of serotonin. I was giving her B vitamins and a supplement called Longvida....UCLA developed this Curcumin that helps with depression etc. I know you can't give a major diagnosis. I just need a little more information as I prepare her for Rehab
Brief Answer:
Hair loss and skin payches are rare with effexor and trazodone
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
Venlafaxine and trazodone are not related with hair loss and skin patches as these side effects are not seen for these medicines.
Regarding the real problem if she is currently not depressed a calculated decision can be taken to stop tham starting with trazodone and then venlafaxine.
I hope this assists you further.
Thanks and regards.
