Are There Chances Of Any Residual Disease After Surgery For A Tumor?

Question: Plz forward the reports to Dr XXXXXXX Sundriyal, oncologist
Brief Answer:
Hello. Some more investigations are required
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I ave seen the reports. I will suggest following investigations further.
As the surgery has been done by a general surgeon and not an onco surgeon, there might be chances of residual disease left behind. Pleas get a petct done to look for residual disease.
Moreover, i will suggest a 2nd opinion from any reputed pathologist on the tumor tissues retrieved to confirm that it is liposarcoma only.
Thanks and regards
