Are There Chances Of Contracting Cancer From My Cat When I Had A Needle Prick Wound?

No worries
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Any cancer is extremely unlikely to spread through needle sharing, so no question of it.
Few infection can possibly be transmitted by needle stick from animals, these are just potential zoonotic pathogen which have not been reported to occur frequently, the common pathogen that are concern when human to human prick occurs include hep B, hep C and HIV; the good thing is that these does not take place from veterinary pricks (i.e., prick form animal to human) similarly rabbis, another concern, does not transmit through blood.
So to cut short, possibly the risk of transmission of some infection is there, however it is not common . The risk of transmission is further reduced when there is no blood on the needle.
You have done very right to wash it, and let it bleed for a while. I am pretty confident, that there is no need to worry a lot.
Hope I have answered your question, please feel fry to ask anything you need know more. Best luck.
