Brief Answer:
No known interactions with most medications

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using Ask a Doctor. Probiotics are microorganisms that have beneficial properties for the host (us), and are usually derived from food sources, and include certain kinds of bacteria and yeast. As such, they do not usually have any interactions with other medications or supplements. However, depending on whether the particular probiotic is bacteria or yeast, using antibiotics or antifungal medications will likely alter their effectiveness. But otherwise, there are no other medications that I know of that would cause any problems with probiotics.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any questions about any of that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
