Question: Hi I have these symtomps about a year ago and they increase quickly Premenstrual syndrome PMS Pain and swelling of the breasts Cyclical Headaches Severe stomach pain Menstruation for a period of 10 days fatigue Hair loss increased facial hair and body in general Frequent vaginal infections low Libido
Brief Answer:
It is self limiting
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
A symptom-less menstrual cycle is seen when there is a good balance in the estrogen and progesterone during each cycle. This balance makes the cyclical bleeding healthy wihout any undesired effects.
When the balance gets disturbed , either there will be intense PMS symptoms in cases of estrogen excess or excess bleeding as in case of progesterone excess.
Such imbalance can be seen due to many causes ranging from mild stress to tumours in the reproductive organs. It must be evaluated in detail.
Hope, I answered your query
Wish you good health.
