Are Unusual Rashes Along With Fever A Concern?
Question: Hi, shifted to XXXXXXX after maternity 1 week back.Noticed these spots since this morning, have fever since yesterday due to change in weather. advice?
Brief Answer:
need monitoring...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am not able to assess if the rash is elevated above the skin surface. But it seems like it does. Such elevated rashes are known as maculopapular rash. In association with fever such rashes are common with viral infections. Possibilities viral exanthematous infections cannot be ruled out at this point of time.
I will suggest clinical observation. You need to visit a doctor at the earliest who can examine the rashes and suggest the due course of treatment based on clinical assessment.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
