Are Vomiting, Nausea And Morning Sickness Signs Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi,
My periods are irregular, i had my period on Feb 20 2017, and it lasted for 6 days, till date I didn't get my periods, i had intercourse with my partner 3-4 times after my periods in February and every time we had we used Condom. From yesterday I'm finding little cramp in dark brown colour, every time when i get my period the before day i get same kind of cramps and from next day the normal bleeding starts. So can I expect this as a sign of periods or is it cramping during pregnancy. i dont have any other symptoms of pregnancy like vomiting, nausea, morning sickness or tender breasts.I didn't even take a pregnancy test till now.Let me know what can I do now.

Brief Answer:
Probably your periods will start on a day or two

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
If you have used the condom correctly it is unlikely that you are pregnant. Since you are already having cramps, you may start your period in a day or two.
If you do not start your period in two to three days time, get a pregnancy test done.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.

From afnoon 1 pm iam holding it and had test after 7 pm in the evening today, will that work out.

Hi,
Ideally it should be morning sample of urine for pregnancy test. So it is better to repeat the test tomorrow morning.
If the pregnancy test is negative tomorrow, consult your doctor and take progesterone for withdrawal bleeding.
You need do some hormone tests and ultrasound to find out the reason for your irregular periods.
I hope this is helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
