Are Walking And Cycling Safe To Engage In While Undergoing PT For Medial Meniscus?
Question: I have a torn medial meniscus in the left knee. No surgery. It hapoened 3 months ago. I am to do physical therapy.I had a steroid shot in the left knee 7 days ago. I want to begin walking on an indoors track and riding a bicycle. Is it permissable to do those things while doing PT?? I need to walk for cardiac therapy!!!

Dr...... is a whirlpool heat treatment good for torn meniscus??? I like to get into hot whirlpool for 15 minutes and the ice the knee after a 30 minute walk. I just don't want to injure it anymore .... is what I am doing ok???
