Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that there are not enough clinical based data evidence to support the benefits of CBD oil on blood thinning. It is known that it can slow blood clotting process, but I am afraid that its effects are much more simple compared to Apixaban.

For this reason, I would not recommend switching from Apixaban to CBD oil, because I don't think that CBD oil will help prevent cardio-embolic events with the efficacy of Apixaban, whose effects have been well documented in large clinical trials.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
