As Per The Suggestion From Orthopedist, I Took SHELCAL-CT Tablet My Concern Is ,should I Continue With SHELCAL-CT Tablet Or It Was Just A Side Effect Or A Viral Fever???? Could You Please Suggest ?

Question: As per the suggestion from orthopedist, I took SHELCAL-CT tablet .Instead of day time i consumed in night after dinner and the very next morning as well as that night i suffered from moderate fever(~102.5 F).And after consuming paracetamol(also i was continuing
shelcal-ct ) ,I recovered from fever.
My concern is ,should i continue with SHELCAL-CT tablet or it was just a side effect or a viral fever????
Could you please suggest

I have gone through the details. Fever doesn't look like a side effect of shelcal. If you have recovered from fever, you can continue the tablet. If you are getting a fever again then you may discuss with your treating doctor about changing the brand of the tablet. Usually, fever is not seen as a side effect of calcium tablets.
