Question : At what age does a woman stop growing or how many years after they get their period?
Brief Answer:
around 18 to 19 years
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
A woman stops growing physically at around 18 to 19 years. This is somatic growth.
Normally, a girl would start period at around 11 to 13 years. So, the physical growth can continue till around 6 to 8 years after getting their period.
There are no standard values for the same. Based on the ethnic group, race and place, we judge the growth of an individual as percentile growth for that particular community.
Hope this helps you.
