Detailed Answer:
Hii. It seems that you are having geographical tongue along with laryngopharyngeal reflux and vitamin deficiency. Geographical tongue is basically due to vitamin deficiency, iron, folic acid deficiency. You will be having lots of cracks, absence of taste buds, discoloration. You may also be having altered sensation of taste, burning, tingling sensation, dryness or irritation over the tongue. All these deficiency will make the tongue dry and as a result tongue will be full of cracks, redness. So you can take vitamin supplements like vitamin b complex, vitamin c. You need to take vitamin c rich food like lemons, melons, citrus fruits. Take milk and dairy products. Drink more water. You can maintain oral hygiene by doing betadine gargle or chlorhexidine gargle. Betadine gargle will prevent fungal and bacterial infection to get developed. Take pantoprazole tablet to decrease the acid reflux which will also help in relieving the above symptoms. Avoid excessive tea, coffee, spicy food. Lead a healthy life. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Don't take stress. Take fruits. It will help you to increase the salivary flow and prevent the tongue from drying. You can take vitamin c tablet like Limcee to increase the vitamin c supplement. Eat more vegetables. Please review if you have any queries.
