Question: Hello, i was bit by an insect that left two red lines on my leg the surrounding area is very painful and today it appears like a bruise with a bump

Insect bite generally develops as single swelling with redness, itchiness and pain, but it left you with 2 red lines, thus, are you sure that it was a insect bite.
You can apply ointment like Surfaz-SN/Quadriderm lightly on it thrice daily.
You will also require anti-inflammatory analgesic, anti-histaminic and antibiotic course orally. Thus you should visit your Physician/Dermatologist for examination and prescription of treatment.
Please get your blood sugar (F&PP) also checked.
